Led by our Chief Investment Officer, the Investment Department manages a consolidated investment portfolio of nearly $75 billion and consists of investment professionals focused on portfolio management, risk management, asset management, derivatives, operations, finance and accounting functions.


  • Provide daily support for all functions performed within the Data Governance Team

  • Interact with Front Office for Security Master Set Ups

  • Primary point of contact in Investments for data quality maintenance, corrections, and data requests

  • Analyze and understand data sources and downstream impact of data to effectively communicate and lead cross-functional data quality projects

  • Work on various process improvements and re-engineering initiatives

  • Execute ‘change control’ methodology for process improvements and re-engineering initiatives

  • Proactively, monitor, identify and resolve issues associated with Security Masters

  • Support monthly cash flow projection process

  • Partner with multiple functions to clean data as well as compile and update data operational definitions and business data field owners

  • Provide training to Investments associates on data governance

  • Additional ad-hoc projects


  • Bachelor’s degree, in Accounting, Finance or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in a financial services environment working with fixed income securities

  • Strong analytical and technical skills

  • Proficiency in Excel

  • Experience working with large datasets

  • Organizational skills and a detail-oriented working methodology

  • Strong Interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills


  • Knowledge of BlackRock Solutions Aladdin trading platform

  • Experience with financial products and understanding of how data is used to reflect products, transactions and exposures

  • Experience working with Business Objects and/or additional data interface applications on a frequent basis
